Set of 3 Shelf Instructions

This set of 3 wall-mounted shelves uses hidden T-fixings to achieve a clean, modern floating design. Follow these step-by-step floating shelf installation instructions to securely mount your shelves.

Step 1: Decide Placement & Mark the Wall

  1. Choose where you want to attach the first floating shelf.

  2. Hold the shelf against the wall and use a spirit level to ensure it is perfectly straight.

  3. Make small pencil marks on the wall to indicate where the T-fixing rods will sit.

Step 2: Position the T-Fixings

  1. Take the metal T-fixings and place them on the wall, aligned with the marks you just made.

  2. Use a pencil to mark the drill hole positions through the fixing slots.

Step 3: Drill Holes & Insert Wall Plugs

  1. Drill holes at the marked points.

  2. Select the correct wall plugs for your wall type:

    • Concrete or brick wall ā†’ heavy-duty plugs.

    • Drywall/gypsum wall ā†’ drywall anchors.

    • Wooden wall ā†’ screws can go directly without plugs.

  3. Insert plugs until flush with the wall.

Step 4: Secure the T-Fixings

  1. Position the T-fixings over the drilled holes.

  2. Insert screws through the fixings and tighten until secure.

Step 5: Mount the Shelves

  1. Slide the shelf onto the mounted T-fixing rods.

  2. Push until the floating wall shelf sits flush against the wall.

  3. Check with the level to ensure alignment.

Final Checks

  • Repeat the process for all three shelves.

  • Test stability by applying gentle pressure before placing items.

  • Clean off pencil marks for a neat finish.
