This small wall shelf keeps entryway clutter honest: three tiers in black steel and real wood veneer, doubling as a trinket shelf for keys, sunglasses, and the odds and ends worth looking at twice.
The floating wall shelf is built the way our workshop builds everything: a welded black steel frame carrying three fitted shelves of Baltic birch plywood finished in a real wood veneer, not a printed laminate. From across the room it reads as a small wall shelf; up close it reads as a considered piece of furniture, because the frame is doing visible structural work rather than hiding behind the wood.

Each tier is sized for what actually sits on a shelf like this: a small plant, a stack of two or three books, a dish for keys, a candle, the sunglasses you always lose. It is not a shoe bench and it is not rated to sit on — it is a display shelf and everyday-object organizer, and it is honest about that scope.
As an entryway organizer, the three tiers separate what you grab on the way out (keys, sunglasses, mail) from what you simply like looking at. In a living room, the same three tiers work as a narrow living room shelf for a plant, a framed photo, and a small stack of records, without competing for depth the way a full bookcase would.
Each veneer is bookmatched where the grain allows it, so no two shelves are quite the same piece of wood. Made in Latvia, part of the Cavallo collection alongside the matching entryway pieces — line two or three shelves along one wall for a small entryway that reads as furniture rather than storage.
A housewarming gift for someone furnishing their first hallway, or a considered add to a living room that has run out of surfaces but not out of things worth displaying.

How much weight can the Wall Shelf CAVALLO hold?
Depending on the model and your wall, typically around 5-10 kg - enough for books, plants and decor. The capacity for this model is in the description; place heavier items closest to the wall.
How does it attach to the wall - will I see any brackets?
No visible brackets - it uses a hidden floating mount, so the shelf appears to float on the wall. All hardware and a drilling template are included.
What is the Wall Shelf CAVALLO made of?
Each Wall Shelf CAVALLO is handmade in our workshop in Cesis, Latvia, from high-quality veneered birch plywood - a strong, stable material that resists warping - finished with eco-friendly, non-toxic oils and paints. The exact finish and colour of each variant is shown in the product options above.
Can I install it on drywall?
Yes, with the included anchors. For heavier loads we recommend fixing at least one screw into a stud - send us a photo of your wall and we will gladly advise.
Will the wood colour look like the photos?
Very close - reviewers often note the colour matches the photos. Since every veneer sheet has natural grain variation, your piece will be subtly one of a kind.
How long does shipping take?
Standard worldwide shipping is free. Every piece is made to order, so production normally takes 3-5 business days - the estimated delivery dates are shown next to the price above.
Can I return it if it does not fit my interior?
Yes. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging - see the Shipping and returns tab above for details.
Can I order a custom size, wood tone or a personalised version?
